Mark graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has been working in private practice for over 12 years.
Since 2011 Mark has been teaching clinical pilates to help rehabilitate clients from all kinds of injuries.
In 2016 he became a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and has recently completed further study of DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular stabilisation). Combining these different approaches gives him a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation that can be tailored to each individual client’s specific needs, whether that is recovering from an acute episode of back pain or returning to high level sport.
Mark is confident in treating any part of the body, however, he has completed advanced training in the assessment and diagnosis for conditions of the spine and pelvis. He enjoys helping people recover from complex cases of low back pain, neck pain and migraines.
Mark also loves to provide coaching to runners, from absolute beginners all the way to ultra-marathon athletes. He combines his manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation skills with analysis and correction of running form to help people reach their running goals.
Mark is a health enthusiast who enjoys various physical activities such as strength training, running, yoga, and surfing. He is also passionate about nutrition and longevity, with a goal to continue surfing well into his 70s and beyond. Mark understands the importance of maintaining a healthy and high-performing body, and loves to share this knowledge with his clients.
Mark works closely with the Village team to help manage any acute injuries, and to get you back to pursuing your health and fitness goals as quickly and safely as possible.
